Jury and evaluation
How jury rounds work
Updated 12 Oct · 2 min · Program teamUpdated · 2 min read · For Program team
In CohortOS a jury round is a review stage in your application pipeline. Applications move into the stage, evaluators score each one against the same weighted rubric, and the program team turns those scores into decisions.
The moving parts
- Stages: set per program type under Settings → Programs → Application Stages.
- Evaluators: people in your workspace with the Evaluator role.
- Rubric: weighted criteria, each with a maximum score (10 by default).
- Reviews: each evaluator adds an overall score, a feasibility score and a recommended decision.
- Decisions: the program team accepts, rejects, shortlists or waitlists.
Application statuses
Applications move through Draft, Submitted, Under Review, Shortlisted and then Accepted, Rejected or Waitlisted. Applicants are emailed when their status changes, so keep statuses up to date as decisions are made.
