Set up review stages for your program type

Updated 5 Oct · 2 min · Owners and admins

Review stages are the steps an application passes through after it is submitted, such as screening, first review and final pitch. Stages are set per program type, so every Acceleration program in your workspace shares the same pipeline.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings and open the Programs tab, then find Application Stages.
  2. Pick the program type you want to configure: Incubation, Acceleration, Bootcamp, Fellowship or Custom.
  3. Choose Load Defaults to start from a standard pipeline, or + Add Stage to build your own.
  4. For each stage, add a name and a short description. Turn on Final Stage for the stage where decisions are made.

Tips

  • Name every stage after what happens in it ("Screening", "Jury round 1"), not after who does it.
  • Three or four stages is enough for most programs. Each extra stage adds days to your timeline.
  • Agree on who owns each stage before applications open.
